Recently, I completed CodeSchool.com “Try Android” course. It was four modules long and was quite an informative course.

Even if you have no prior programming experience, this course is well laid out and provides help and insightful notes and guidance along the way to make sure you never feel lost. The challenges are great at reinforcing what you had just learned in the module, and you get to create you’re own Android app along the way!

I definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in Java/Android development. There is a follow up course that builds on the app made in “Try Android”. I plan on taking that next.
